FAQs

What is the process of ordering for a personalized Kente?

We’ve streamlined our process to ensure that creating your dream Kente is seamless and satisfying. Here’s how it works:

  • Consultation
    Begin by booking an appointment on prestigekente.com. During the consultation, we’ll discuss your vision, preferred colors, and design preferences.
    Note: The consultation fee is non-refundable but is deducted from the total cost of your final Kente.
  • Sample Design
    After the consultation, we’ll create a sample design to help you visualize your dream Kente. If needed, one iteration within the agreed color scheme is allowed to ensure your satisfaction.
  • Production Payment
    Once you approve the final design, we require a 70% upfront payment of the total cost to begin production.

What is the Kente making timeline?

It takes 6-12 weeks to complete orders. You may also request for express service at a fee percentage depending on the timeline agreed on.

 What method of payment is accepted?

Visa, MasterCard and Mobile Money Transfer.
We currently working on integrating these payment gateways soon: Discover, American Express, PayPal, Amazon Pay, and Apple Pay

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes! We offer international shipping through DHL.

What if I refuse my order at delivery?

If an order is refused at delivery and returned to us, you will not be refunded shipping costs and/or any duties and taxes incurred. We strongly urge you to review your order prior to shipment. If we have to re-ship the item, you will be invoiced for the cost of shipping which must be paid prior to re-shipment.

Is there a warranty on my product?

We are currently unable to offer warranties on your Prestige Kente Fabric. However, if you experience issues with your item please email us and we will help you. Your happiness with your Prestige Kente is very important to us!

How do I take care of my KENTE?

To properly care for your Kente, we suggest dry cleaning.

Do you cover lost or stolen packages?

If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please email us immediately. We cannot make any guarantees, but your satisfaction is our priority and we want to help get your Kente to you. If you need to make a change to your shipping address, email us at info@prestigekente.com as soon as possible. We can amend the address as long as the package has not left our facility. We can try to re-route a package once it has shipped but unfortunately there is no guarantee.

Can I return a sale item?

Items purchased with a discount code may be returned within 10 days of receipt. Any product marked as sale cannot be returned.

What is your return/cancellation policy for shipments?

All items in their original condition can be returned for store credit only within 10 days of delivery. For order cancellations (before and after they ship), we are only able to offer store credit. Orders cannot be cancelled once they ship. Should you have any questions prior to purchasing, we are always happy to assist. Please email us at info@prestigekente.com for any questions.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been placed, we will send a confirmation email to the provided email address. Once your item is ready to ship, we will follow up with a shipping notification so that you may track your item.

Please note that all shipping labels take a moment to update, so if you receive a notification but your item hasn’t begun tracking, please allow some time. If the tracking does not update within 24 hours, please email customer care at  sales@restigekente.com to assist.
