Prestige Kente, established in 2018, is a Ghanaian brand renowned for its sustainable premium textiles. With a deep-rooted expertise in weaving Ghana’s iconic Kente fabric, our brand is driven by a passion to redefine the African narrative. We believe in embracing our heritage fully and showcasing it to the world through innovative and creative storytelling.
Our Goal
Our goal is to champion excellence in African artisanship and craftsmanship by continuing to utilize the Kante’s powerful origins and leveraging on its uniting symbolism, as a force of prosperity and as a tool to unlock the true potential of our people. We seek to give new life to the timeless value of the Kente craft as we pioneer in translating its aesthetics in contemporary bespoke Kente pieces that celebrates the talent and creativity of our artisan weavers, honours our environment and sows pride and dignity in our royal patrons.

Alma Tawia
Years ago, I made a decision to support local Kente weavers in expanding their reach. I started from my village, Tafi, located in the Volta Region—a town with beautifully woven Kente and a home to some of the most talented weavers in the country. Like any other business, it began with one or two successful orders and transactions. The unique beauty of our Kente captured the hearts of many and today, we stand as the largest and most innovative Kente hub in Ghana.
